We have a strong early childhood education program that includes ECEAP, Special Education, and Co-op students. Our integrated model provides opportunities for children to cultivate a love for learning. We focus on developing children’s skills and competencies in the social, emotional, cognitive, communication, and motor areas. Parent participation is a crucial part of our program. We recognize the parent as children’s first and most important teacher. Volunteering and visitation in classrooms are encouraged.

Philosophy Statement:
The Omak Early Childhood Programs serve children ages three to five years old and their families. We believe that every child is entitled to optimal health, growth, development, and opportunity for a successful future. We will work as partners with families to meet each child’s needs.
Program Goals:
We will assist families to advocate for their children and utilize available resources to meet their children’s needs.
Every child will enter kindergarten ready to learn.
Our staff will be advocates for early childhood education throughout the community.
Students love coming to preschool, where they learn both inside and outside the classroom. We value education and developing an environment where children can enjoy learning. Throughout the year, preschool takes various field trips to enhance the learning experience of students; such as, to the Okanogan County Fair, O'Dell Orchards, and the Conconully State Park.
